Tonight, August 6, 2009, Jeanine Mason was crowned winner of So You Think You Can Dance Season 5, beating out stiff competition, Brandon Bryant. It was a toe to toe battle for the number one spot, but America decided that they wanted a female to take this title home. Since Sabra Jackson won in 2007, there hasn't been any other female america called their best dancer, but Jeanine let everyone know she was coming to steal the show and she did just that. As for when the next So You Think You Can Dance season is being aired -- September of 09! yup, not even months later, SYTYCD is bringing in 20 more dancers and needs your vote to decide whose goin to be the season 6 winner. auditions began while season 5 was being aired, so unfortunately, auditions are currently closed. how many familiar faces will we see this new season approaching? can't wait to find out.
